Michele,

Last Friday, you did commentary & analysis of the Auburn-LSU softball game. In the top of the 6th inning, our “Smitty” (Abbey got the opportunity to show off her talents by retiring the side from LF.

Last night, a Facebook post from April 18, 2014, 9 years ago, showed up on my phone.  It featured a picture of you & Abbey at a Texas A&M game vs Florida. Abbey was 10 years old & little did we know the role that softball would play in the life of our daughter.

From being recruited & committing to Auburn at age 13 to now playing on TV, it’s been quite a ride.

Thank you for everything you have done to help grow the game of softball & inspire girls like Abbey Michelle Smith to follow their dreams.
